On 25th October we had coffee and doughnuts and supervised the replacement of the oak bench.

| The original bench was only installed in May 2007, but deteriorated quickly. The installer replaced it, suggesting that the wood had from a diseased tree. | ||

It was such a nice Autumn day that we returned with sandwiches to strim some of the grass. The weather in the following weeks was poor, so by December the half the grass remained uncut, under very heavy early snow. | Photographs||
